How to work with Sarah

Initial Consultations

This is your personalised starting point. Just you and Sarah for a 60 minute session. She’ll assess your posture and movement, understand your history and goals, and figure out what your body needs from Pilates. Then Sarah builds your personalised program with key milestones to achieve your goals.

Small Group 3:1 Sessions

Personalised Pilates sessions with a maximum of two other people. Sarah programs each session around who's in the room that day. You get Sarah’s expert attention tailored to your body and a blend of mobility, stability and full-body strength using professional equipment.

Private 1:1 Sessions

Get Sarah’s complete focus for an entire Pilates session. Ideal for injury rehab and faster progress. Or simply if you prefer a one-on-one experience. You’ll receive detailed, hands on guidance that’s tailored to your individual needs.

  • Absolutely not. Sarah loves working with beginners. Your Initial Consultation will walk you through everything, the equipment, how sessions work, what to expect. You won't be expected to know anything walking in, and you won't feel behind or out of place. Everyone starts somewhere.

  • Because every body is different, and Sarah needs to understand yours before she can personalise your Pilates journey. Your history, your injuries, your movement patterns are all key considerations. The Initial Consultation is how Sarah makes sure your time at Avera is genuinely useful from the very first session.

    It also means you won't arrive at a class feeling lost or unsure. You'll already know the equipment, understand how Sarah works, and have a program that's been built with your body in mind.

  • No. Ongoing sessions are offered following an initial consultation.

    After your consultation, Sarah will guide you on suitable session options and availability.

    • Private 1:1 sessions are fully personalised and focused entirely on you.

    • Small group (3:1) sessions involve a maximum of three clients, allowing for individual attention within a shared session.

    Sarah will help you decide which option is most appropriate following your consultation.

  • All new clients start with an initial consultation.
